Sweet Chili Glazed Tofu
Serves 4
Ingredients- 1 package extra firm tofu, drained
- 1 t olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 t chili flakes
- 2 T maple syrup
- 2 T low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 T lime juice
- Pat tofu dry and cut the block into 8 even sized triangles
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the oil and sauté the tofu until browned on both sides
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the garlic, ginger, and chili; sauté for 5 minutes
- Add the maple syrup, soy sauce, and lime juice; cover and cook until the liquid has evaporated
- Serve over a bed of sauteed kale
