Homemade Apple Sauce
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 8 McIntosh apples; peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/8 t cloves
- 1/4 cup sugar stevia blend
Directions
- In a medium sauce pan, over medium heat, add the first 4 ingredients (water through cloves)
- Bring the ingredients to a boil then simmer for 8-10 minutes; until the apples are tender
- During the last minute of cooking, stir in the sugar
- Transfer the mixture to a food processor and blend until smooth
