Chili Roasted Sweet Potato Chips

 These homemade sweet potato chips beat the store brand version any day!  The best part about them is you can customize the flavor to suite your mood or meal combination.  I always like a little kick to my food, therefore, my favorite combination adds a little fire with some chili.  If you're looking for a more savory option, try Chinese Five Spice!

Chili Roasted Sweet Potato Chips
Serves 2
  • 1 sweet potato; finely sliced
  • 1 ½ t chili powder
  • ½ t cumin
  • ¼ t salt
  • 1 T olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Combine all ingredients in a Ziploc bag and shake to transfer the spices to the potatoes
  3. Roast for about 15-20 minutes then check and stir
  4. Roast for another 15-20 minutes until brown and crispy
